Huawei will now bring its own maps after Harmony OS

After the dispute between the US government and the Chinese electronics company Huawei, Huawei introduced its own OS (Operating System).  Now Huawei has revealed its own map service.  It can replace Google Maps.  Huawei is the second largest smartphone manufacturer company in the world.

Chinese company Huawei has given information about its own map service. It will not be like Google Maps because an ordinary person will not be able to use it. For example, it will not be able to be used by a common person like Google Maps and Wedge app as it will become a service provider for the navigation app and will create Huawei's own platform, which is called Map Kit. According to Huawei's cloud service president, Jang Pignan, more than 50 percent of mobile applications provide location-based services.

According to the English website Mashable, Huawei's map kit will also be able to tell about traffic arrangements in a particular lane. It will support Augmented Reality System, which is a modern and futuristic feature.

Possibility of greater accuracy

According to the Chinese newspaper China Daily, the Huawei Map Kit will be linked to the local mapping feature. In this case, Huawei Map Kit will produce more accuracy and provide better clarity.

Huawei was banned in America

Huawei was banned in the US a few months ago. Only then did the Huawei say that it would launch its operating system. Please know that Huawei is accused of spying on American citizens. Huawei was blacklisted by the US on charges of espionage and put on the entity list. After going into this list, companies do not have the license to do business with American companies. This case has been going on since  last year December.

In year of 2020,  it will become a common operating system seen in smartphones and cars. Harmony OS is based on microkernel, that is, it will use the least resources to ensure that the operating speed is fast. It has an arc compiler, which supports all major languages including C, C++, Java, Java Scrypt and Kotlin. According to the company, it can prove to be better than Android in many ways.

Harmony OS Will work on all phones

Huawei's Harmony operating system will be first introduced in smart television and smartphones. After which Harmony OS will be made available in another device, but this work will take 3 years. At present, only Chinese users will be able to use this Harmony OS, but the Huawei will soon launch it in other countries. Samsung is also making its own OS

Huawei is not the first company to create its own OS to stand out in the operating system world. Rather, Samsung designed Teigen OSSamsung first launched its Teigen operating based Z1 smartphone in 2014, in a bid to reduce Samsung dependence on Android OS. Teigen runs on the GNU C-library with Linux kernel and Linux API. It is used in a variety of devices including phones, tablets, vehicle-recreational devices, smart TVs, personal computers, smart cameras, wearable computers, smartwatches, DVD players, printers and household items.

Google is searching for Android itself

Huawei has taken its initial step forward like Google. Actually, Google is developing a new operating system Fuchsia, which will support phones, TVs, cars and even watch and it will be micro-based. However, the operating system is currently undergoing testing and it is not known how long it will be launched commercially.
